September 2026 CONVERSATION
Topic: Moving from the Love of Power to
Understanding the Power of Love

September 26, 2026 | 10:00AM to 11:30AM - Via Zoom

What does it mean to you to move from the love of power to understanding the power of love?  A quote that many people attribute to the very popular musician Jimi Hendrix is "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."  This quote has its roots in the 1800's from William E. Gladstone who said, "We look forward to the time when the Power of Love will replace the Love of Power.  Then will our world know the blessings of peace."  When we move away from the love of power towards the power of love, it means that we are willing to let go of the desire to be in control and we can embrace acceptance, cooperation, compassion, kindness, respect, and peace.
